A year and a half back our Pinterest page said ‘1 million monthly unique viewers’ for the first time, and I was so excited about sharing it with all of you here. Today, the page says ’10m+ monthly unique viewers’ and it sounds just as unbelievable to me today as it did then. It makes me very proud to present to you today what 10 million viewers are loving… our most pinned images from May 2020.

Though that number has changed, and some of the top 10 pics have changed, what hasn’t really changed is this. The most pinned images from May 2020 are not our prettiest pics. Instead, most are pics that showcase some very interesting and practical decor ideas. Ideas that most of us could use one way or the other.
So let’s begin to countdown the most exciting ideas of the month right away.
Ten
At number ten we have this beautiful bedroom from our post on ‘11 Ways To Make Your Foot Of Bed Beautiful‘.
Baskets are a great way to add sculptural shapes and texture to any space. In addition, you can also use them to add storage. That’s quite a simple and practical take away from this pretty pic, I think.
Nine
At number nine we have this pretty screen from ‘11 Fantastic Room Divider Ideas For Your Home‘.
The best part about using a screen for a room divider is that you can physically and visually separate different areas of a room without blocking natural light and air circulation. Because the screen allows the eye to go past it, the space continues to feel open and large.

Eight
This little girl’s room continues to stay on our top 10 most saved images from May 2020. We first shared it with you in our introductory post to our Pink & Lavender Girl’s Room.
When we first shared it with our client, to give them an idea of the colour scheme we were suggesting, they fell in love with it too. So much so, that they selected the same wallpaper for their daughter’s room. You can click here to see how the room finally turned out.

‘How To Glam Up Your Home With Accent Lighting’ is one of our earliest posts on the blog, but a very useful one, I might add. So to suddenly see this pic pop up in our most pinned images was quite a pleasant surprise.
This is a great example of how to use lights to serve more than one purpose. These lights do more than just allow you to see in the dark. They accentuate the texture on the wall and the pretty pattern they make serves as wall decor too.

This pretty pic from our balcony makes it to the top 10 once again. We originally shared this pic in our post on ‘What’s New On Our Amazon Store‘. You could still hop over to our Amazon Storefront to source the colourful suzani cushion covers… and more!

Sarah’s bright and beautiful living room continues to stay on our top ten most pinned images from May 2020 too. We first shared this image with you in our post on ‘Living Room Rugs – All You Need To Know‘. This is another super popular and super useful post that will answer most of your doubts on living room rugs. So do check it out if you’ve missed it.
And this pic is one I can look and learn from every single time. Putting so many colours together all in one space can look absolutely hideous. Sarah does it right, and with panache, every single time.

This inspiration pic from the introductory post to our ‘Wood & White Boy’s Room‘ enters the charts at number four. The beautiful veneer running right across the headboard is a show stopper and we selected a beautiful veneer to do something similar in our boy’s room. I can’t wait to show you how this room finally turned out.

This lovely view is one of my favourite photographs of my balcony. It has inspired a few readers to use a grill on their balcony ceiling to hang plants easily. Which is why it first made a debut on this blog in the post ‘Decor Inspiration All Around On #RittikaLookAtThis‘.
It makes me so happy that it continues to be saved and inspires many more.

We used this pic as reference for the study table for our ‘Moody Teen Bedroom Makeover’. We showed the client how we would be using wood and grey in combination in the room using this picture. It is the main reason we spend so much time on Pinterest ourselves when we design a space. Not only is it great to look for new ideas, we also use it to convey an idea to our client. So if we have a particular concept in mind, instead of trying to explain it to the client in words, we look for a pic which will help them understand the concept much faster.
