    An #ARIYONAbeforeafter from this kitchen (Swipe 👈for before) I’m sure you’ve heard of people taking the balconies into the rooms to increase the size of the room. We did just the opposite here – separated on part of a room to create a faux balcony where there wasn’t any. Since this home doesn’t have a balcony for drying clothes we partly closed off the area near the window to make a dry balcony and utility area for the washing machine, dryer and clothes drying rods. The staff bathroom also opens into this dry balcony, keeping it out of the main kitchen area.     Usually, when we’re discussing designs with four Usually, when we’re discussing designs with four members of one family, my role is to bring together their different ideas to make a cohesive space. While working on this home, I was pleasantly surprised to see that all four of them were on the same page. Each of them picked whites, greys and beiges for their bathrooms and wanted white to dominate their bedrooms. They also all picked gold accents in big and small ways for their spaces… So a warm welcome to ‘Shway’ today, which means gold in Burmese. This is an elegant home with an understated luxurious vibe, done almost entirely in white and gold… and I can’t wait to show you around! Let’s begin with this #ARIYONAslowsipe of the living room.
