In a home where every space feels thoughtfully tailored and quietly elegant, the bathrooms of ‘Shway’ hold their own with grace and precision.
These three bathrooms—each just under 10 feet long—were compact in size but full of potential. By reworking layouts, choosing tactile finishes, and adding touches of soft glamour, we transformed them into serene sanctuaries for the family. Let’s walk through each space and see how form meets function behind closed doors.

Master Bathroom – Compact Yet Captivating
The Plan
At just under 4 feet wide and 9½ feet long, the master bathroom called for careful spatial planning. We placed the shower at one end of the room and the toilet at the other, with the vanity taking centre stage along the longer wall. This linear layout ensures that each function flows into the next without feeling cramped. A glass partition at the shower keeps the space feeling open while containing moisture efficiently.

Colours & Finishes
A neutral palette of warm beiges and soft creams envelopes this space, making it feel more expansive than it actually is. The walls are clad in textured chevron tiles that softly catch the light, adding movement without fuss. The floating vanity in pale faux leather finish is topped with a creamy marble, setting the tone for quiet luxury.

Brushed brass fittings bring in the signature Shway gold without overwhelming the senses. The oversized framed mirror with a delicate antique edge elongates the room visually while doubling as a decorative statement. A tiny green plant and a gold pump soap dispenser sit neatly on the counter—practical, yet pretty.

Boy’s Bathroom – Clean, Sculptural, and Slightly Industrial
The Plan
Much like the master bath, the boy’s bathroom follows a linear layout, but this one subtly flips the orientation. The vanity lies to the right of the entry, with the WC tucked in next to the window, and the shower on the far side of the room. With clever use of glass partitions and built-in niches, we maximised every inch of the narrow space.

Colours & Finishes
We kept the palette grounded in warm whites and taupes, but unlike the rest of the home, this bathroom introduces a sculptural pendant lamp over the WC—a moody, amber glow softens the edges and adds a youthful vibe.

The ribbed wall tiles paired with a dramatic dark marble countertop give the room a textural richness that’s both modern and masculine.

Within the shower, built-in glass shelves and concealed lighting keep the bath products neat and beautifully displayed. The fittings are in antique brass are coordinated throughout. A large oval mirror with a frosted edge reflects the hallway light, bringing in depth and brightness.

Girl’s Bathroom – Soft Drama in Stone Grey
The Plan
The girl’s bathroom mirrors the master bath in shape but leans into a slightly different configuration. The shower enclosure takes up the left corner of the room, the WC sits near the window for ventilation, and the floating vanity stretches across the longest wall.

Colours & Finishes
This bathroom departs from Shway’s typical gold accents and embraces sleek matte black fixtures for a youthful contrast.

The walls and floor are wrapped in warm grey Italian marble that creates a sense of immersion and continuity. The large oval mirror, softly lit from above, adds height and elegance.

A backlit niche above the black shower fixtures showcases is handy to keep bath essentials.

The vanity itself features a creamy marble counter, a vessel sink, and subtle storage beneath—effortless, organised, and very chic.

The WC fits in neatly into the far corner near the window.

Before & After – The Magic of Reinvention
When we first saw these bathrooms, they were functional but dated—beige sanitaryware, exposed geysers, old tiles and bulky fittings. The space felt tight and tired, and every wall was filled with visual noise.
The pedestal basin…

… was replaced with a large, floating vanity.

The exposed flush tanks…

… replaced with concealed ones.

Through reimagined layouts, floating vanities, seamless tiles and concealed lighting, we’ve created spaces that feel elevated and efficient.

No exposed pipes, no visual clutter. Just clean lines, layered textures, and soft lighting.

From awkward to elegant, dark to dreamy—these transformations are among my favourites in all of ‘Shway’ . Every detail is designed to make daily routines feel just a bit more beautiful.
Which of these three is your favourite? Tell me in the comments below, and if you haven’t yet walked through the rest of ‘Shway’, I’d love for you to take a look. From soft gold kitchens to dreamy bedrooms, there’s so much more to explore.
Until then,
.
