As you know by now, I am part of the Amazon Affiliate Program. And I am back today with another short and sweet update of the latest products I’ve listed on my Amazon Storefront.
What’s New On Our Amazon Storefront
For those of you who are new here, and as a quick reminder for those of you who aren’t, I don’t list just about any item on Amazon on my storefront. I only list those products that I have seen and used myself, or in a project or gifted to someone dear. Any which way, I have seen for myself, every product listed on my storefront.
So those of you who are looking for a few hundred products listed on the storefront are going to be sorely disappointed. But if you are looking for a few recommendations coming from experience, then read on.
Balcony and Garden
The Balcony and Garden section is by far my favourite on our Amazon Storefront. I don’t think there’s ever been a time when I have not had a update for it, because I end up constantly buying these for my own home.
Take these two wall planters, for instance.
You must be quite familiar with this balcony wall by now. Though most of its layout remains quite the same, there are usually a few minor additions and changes to it every once in a while. Over the last two months I’ve added these two wall planters to it.
The round white planter you see on the bottom right is simple and chic. It comes with a brass hoop that you screw into the wall. The white planter bowl sits comfortably in the hoop. I have placed a small potted plant in the white bowl. This one is easy to clean and maintain and looks super stylish.
The macramé basket planter you see on the top left is quite the opposite. The macramé pocket is woven on to half a basket which then has a string from which to suspend it. The beads and tassels add to the beautiful boho vibes. I have placed a small, four inch plastic pot inside the macramé pocket.
Next comes this lovely metal hanging planter in a brass finish. The hanger is made of 3 metal hoops placed to form a triangle. While the base hoop holds the metal planter, the two vertical hoops join on top to give the planter an interesting shape.
Finally, I added these small plates to the balcony and garden section. I love placing table top planters all around the home. Most of these are ceramic, but don’t always come with a base plate to collect any extra water that drips out from beneath the pots.
This means, you either use the ugly plastic plates which come with most plastic pots, or allow the water to drip and spoil your table surfaces.
I finally got myself three sets of dishes to go under all our ceramic pots. We now have one set of these glass saucers, one set of black chaat plates and another set of the same in white. Depending on the colour of the planter, I have placed these below so they don’t stand out and look odd.
Decorative Accents & Fittings
First on the Decorative Accents and Fittings section of our Amazon Storefront is this classic, white clock. About a foot in diameter, this wood carved clock in white and gold is an easy and useful addition to almost any room.
This adorable spectacle holder is another personal favourite. If you can ignore the fact that the spectacles on this one are upside down (my son’s sense of humour!) you’ll realise just how cute this old man, ever ready to hold your specs, is.
Furnishings
A single addition to the Furnishings section of our storefront is this printed coir mat. It is a lovely way to glam up your main entrance. I was initially worried that over time the print would fade away and begin to look worn out. But I have been using this for a quite few months now, and there has been no fading away off the print yet.
Candles & Fairy Lights
Another section that I love browsing through and browsing for, is Candles and Fairy Lights. This time, though, the addition to this section is not a candle. It is this beautiful, leaf shaped agarbatti stand. A tiny hole to one side easily holds the incense stick. The leaf collects the ash as it falls down. It can also work as a decorative tray or trinket holder when not in use.
You can get incense sticks in enchanting fragrances to go with the holder, here.
Electricals & Lights
Finally, we have one addition in the Electricals and Lights section of our Amazon storefront. We used this delicate, hand tooled reading light in the Guest Room of the Blue Door Project. Its compact design and rich finish will help it fit in and look glamourous anywhere.
That’s it for our roundup this time. The decorative items we’ve added to our Amazon Storefront have made it to this post. A lot of the more functional items have not. So do visit the storefront to see all the tried and tested products on it.
Until next time,
.
