We all shop at Amazon. We all sometimes come up with an amazing find that has us beaming from ear to ear. Something that we can’t wait to share with our besties… ‘Guess where I found this…!’ As part of the Amazon Affiliate program, I get to share these favourite products with you, by listing them on my Amazon Storefront. And so I’m back with my six monthly update on the latest products I’ve listed there, in a post which is one of my favourite to write!
What’s New On Our Amazon Storefront
We have quite a few new additions on the storefront over the last few months, and I don’t really know where to begin. So I’m going to start with a really small product that almost had me jumping.
Candles & Fairy Lights
Candles and fairy lights are right at the top of my list of things that add hygge to your home. So it’s no surprise that this is one of my favourite sections of my Amazon storefront.
And this one is my most exciting find of this post. This amazing candle lighter. Its long, flexible stem means you can reach your candle jars when the wick is all the way down to the bottom, without having to do gymnastics with your fingers.
It turns on at the push of a button. And it never runs out of ‘gas’ because it is electric and charges with a USB cord. When something can simplify an already simple activity, it makes my heart sing!
Then there are these couple of scented candles that I’ve tried out recently. The heady fragrance of the Himalayan Cedar and Patchouli is as lovely the soft floral fragrance of the Pink Peony candle.
While we are at candles, do you remember seeing this delicate glass lantern on the side table in our Shades of Grey Living Room?
And this beautiful frangipani candle holder, decorating the bar in the same living room?
Electricals & Lights
Let’s head over to the Electricals & Lights section for another couple of favourite (triple, actually!) additions to our Amazon Storefront, these lamps in our balcony, which I enjoy every day.
Two of them are in a brass finish, while one is almost white. I didn’t realise this when I ordered them, and first thought I would exchange the ‘silver’ one for another shape in a brass finish. But once we hung them, I loved the little surprise the white lamp brought to the arrangement. You can find these three lamps here, here and here.
Balcony & Garden
While we’re looking at these pretty lamps in my balcony, let’s go through the Balcony & Garden section of the storefront.
Do you remember this pretty balcony from our Shades of Grey Living Room? It’s a tiny space where we wanted a comfortable, yet small easy chair. We found this perfect piece on Amazon. That it’s folding is an added bonus.. so easy to put away when not in use.
Decorative Accents & Fittings
We also sourced a lot of little accessories here which are now listed in the Decorative Accents & Fittings section of our Amazon storefront.
Let me start with to our Quick & Easy Guest Room Makeover. Though at that time we didn’t purchase this beautiful glass clock from Amazon, I recently realised that it is available here. I think it’s really pretty and just had to list it on the store.
We also used products from Amazon in our Lavender Guest Room. These beautiful glass handles that went on the wardrobe drawers, for instance.
Also this carved, wooden shelf. We wanted a small space to work as a pooja when the clients’ parents visit. This one was small enough to not get in the way, yet large enough to hold an idol and a diya.
Then we have these ceramic handles and knobs we used in our little girl’s Pink, Orange & Green Room.
When we were looking for white decor accessories for these open shelves in the Cozy Family Room, guess where I went looking for them? You can now find the glass jar with the jute handle, the slender criss cross vase, the oval geometric vase and the white waves planter, all on our Amazon storefront.
Artificial Flowers & Greens
Also that delicate spray of mini white roses that we have put into the vases. The roses are available in a whole lot of colours and listed in the Artificial Flowers & Greens section of the store.
Crafting & DIY
We have only one addition to the Crafting & DIY section this time.
Our client in this room is only a year old. She is on the verge of discovering the joys of scribbling, so we wanted to give her a space to do it freely, without fear of spoiling anything. We decided to paint the shutters of her tiny wardrobe in chalkboard paint so that she can also use those as her scribbling surface.
Problem was, I could find the paint only in pastel colours, which just didn’t fit into her bright room. Until I finally found this bright orange chalkboard paint on Amazon.
Furnishings
The Furnishings section of the storefront has been updated with these couple of finds.
First is this kilim cushion cover that brightens up this vibrant balcony of the Almost Blue Living Room so beautifully.
The second is this soft and snug throw we’ve had in our living room all winter.
It has a beautiful weave and texture and I love all the colours shining through even though it’s all white. Though it isn’t available in this colour any more, this throw is available in gorgeous shades of blue.
It’s Christmas!
Ok, I know it’s NOT Christmas anymore. But after very many years, we decorated a Christmas tree in our home this year, and I got everything I needed for it from Amazon. So you can bookmark the It’s Christmas section to refer to this year.
Starting with this artificial tree, you can also find the silver ribbon and pink ribbon on our Amazon storefront.
My favourite part was these dazzling, clear plastic icicles. I love how they added a fairy-tale-like feel to the tree.
Finally we needed fairy lights for the tree. I didn’t want battery operated ones because these lights would be on from sunset to bedtime every night for about a month. That would mean changing the batteries ever so often. (I used two strings for the entire tree). These USB powered lights were just perfect. The copper wire means they are easy to wind around the tree and also don’t spoil easily.
Kitchen & Bar
The Kitchen and Bar section is one of the most useful and one that I update most regularly.
This porcelain kettle is a recent update. Along with the pretty, jewel toned napkins that fit right into our dining space, and would fit into many others because of the lovely colours.
The strainer you see next to the kettle is another useful find. We use to brew green tea. Squeeze the stems to open up the strainer, put the tea leaves inside and dip it into the kettle filled with hot water. When the brew is of desired strength, we pull the strainer out. It’s a super easy way have our brew of just the right strength, and no tea leaves floating around in it.
I also love this natural bamboo and grass roti / bread box and the soft, checked napkin inside.
Bath & Functional Fittings
We’ll wrap up this post with a few more useful products from our Bath & Functional Fittings section.
This stone finish bathroom set from a soon to be revealed bathroom makeover. Don’t you love how the stone pattern goes so beautifully with the pattern on the wall tiles?
And this extremely useful wooden belt hanger. You can hang a whole lot of belts, and then just slide the hanger in with your clothes in your wardrobe.
As you can see, there are a whole bunch of new products now listed on my Amazon Storefront. Some are useful, some decorative.. and some a bit of both.
And then, there are still a few more that didn’t make it to the post. So remember to visit the storefront to see them all.
As always, these are products I have seen myself and used either in my own home, or in my projects. Click here to see all our previous Amazon store updates.
I would love to know whenever you do take me up on one of these recommendations, so keep writing in below.
Until next time,
