The master bedroom of Mio unfolds like a sanctuary of calm, where every detail whispers softness and ease.
A delicate floral mural forms the heart of the space, setting a tone that is both romantic and serene. Gentle greens, warm wood, and accents of dusty rose come together in quiet harmony, creating a retreat that feels deeply personal. Designed for slow mornings and restful nights, this room embodies the essence of Mio—subtle, elegant, and timeless.

The Plan
The layout of Mio’s master bedroom has been planned with both functionality and flow in mind. At its heart lies a queen-sized bed, placed centrally to anchor the space. Flanking either side are thoughtfully designed wardrobes, providing ample storage without overwhelming the room.
On one end, a cosy corner has been carved out with an armchair —perfect for quiet reflection or reading. The altar is placed on the wall just above the chair, making a quiet corner for prayer.
Opposite the bed, a chest of drawers runs along the wall, balancing storage with display space. The TV is placed above this chest of drawers.

Along the bathroom wall, a full-length mirror with a pouf in front of it makes the dressing area.
Every element has been positioned with intention, creating a layout that feels open, balanced, and inviting while meeting the practical needs of daily life.
The Bed & Wardrobes
At the heart of this room is, of course, the bed — calm, grounded, and framed like a painting. It forms the natural center of the space, with the wardrobes on either side almost standing guard, keeping things neat while cleverly saving space.

Now, here’s the fun part: since there wasn’t room for traditional side tables, we decided to improvise. Slim niches on either side of the wardrobes and a slim shelf running along the headboard do the trick, giving just enough space to tuck away books, candles, or that inevitable glass of water before bed. It’s one of those practical solutions that feels almost sneaky — like we beat the “where do I keep my things?” game without ever crowding the room.

Opposite…
Opposite the bed, the master bedroom balances utility with comfort in the most charming way. A soft mint-green chest of drawers anchors the wall, doubling as storage and a base for the sleek TV mounted above.
Just beside it, a cozy floral wing chair tucks into the corner — the perfect perch for curling up with a book (or scrolling endlessly on your phone, no judgment).

Floating above is a petite altar, delicately placed so that there’s always room for a quiet moment of prayer or reflection.
This little zone feels like the room’s multitasking heart — practical, peaceful, and a touch indulgent all at once.
Dressing Area
Tucked neatly to one side of the bed is the dressing area — proof that smart design is all about location, location, location. Positioned right next to the bathroom entrance, it’s the kind of spot that makes getting ready in the morning feel like a smooth, well-choreographed routine (instead of the usual scramble).
A large mirror framed in delicate inlay detailing bounces light around, while a compact pouffe adds comfort without hogging floor space.

It’s practical, stylish, and just the right dose of vanity-friendly convenience — because let’s be honest, nobody wants to sprint across the room mid–eyeliner application!
Look and Feel
Step into this bedroom and you’ll notice it isn’t shy about playing dress-up.
The star of the show is the floral wallpaper blooming softly above the headboard — it’s like waking up inside a watercolour painting (without the risk of smudging). Balanced against this delicate backdrop are the wardrobes: sleek, white panels with chevron wood detailing that add structure and warmth.

The bed linen stays grounded in earthy olive. It is layered with patterned cushions and a quilt that whispers of hand-block prints and cozy Sunday mornings.

Then, underfoot, the rug quietly steals the scene. With its muted greys and intricate floral motifs, it gathers the room’s colours — the pinks, greens, and creams — and ties them together in one harmonious bow. Think of it as the diplomat of the room. It keeps the wallpaper’s romance, the wardrobes’ geometry, and the textiles’ playfulness all speaking the same stylish language.

Before and Afters
Before → The room did its job – bed, wardrobe, done. But it felt more like a stopover than a sanctuary.

After → With custom wardrobes framing the bed, fluted shutters meeting warm herringbone wood, and even a little niche to tuck away bedtime essentials, the space now feels thoughtful and complete. It’s storage, yes—but with a whole lot of soul.

Before → This corner of the bedroom was more “makeshift storage” than cozy nook. The mix of plain brown curtains, scattered furniture, and a lonely floor mirror made it functional, but far from inspiring.

After → Enter a glow-up. A sage-green chest of drawers now anchors the wall. The TV sits neatly above, and a floral wing chair cozies up the corner. Add in the sheer drapes filtering soft daylight and a little altar perched above. Suddenly, this spot feels less like an afterthought and more like a quiet retreat.

The Master Bedroom of Mio
And that’s the master bedroom of Mio — soft, floral, and just the right mix of practical and pretty. The bed is the star of the show, of course. It is flanked by wardrobes that moonlight as side tables (because who needs clutter when you can have niches?). The wing chair by the window is perfect for curling up with a book… or pretending to, while actually scrolling Instagram. And the floral wallpaper? Let’s just say it’s doing all the heavy lifting when it comes to romance.

Basically, this room has everything you need — storage, comfort, style — and nothing you don’t. It’s calm, it’s cozy, and it’s very hard to leave once you’ve sunk into it.
