The master bedroom of Phoenix is a quiet, leafy dream—where nature spills in gently from the balcony and blooms again on the walls. This space is imagined as a retreat within the home, a soft pause layered in greens and blush, anchored by warm wood tones and a lyrical wallpaper that feels almost hand-painted. It’s a room that leans into romance without being fussy, drawing its palette and purpose from rest, reflection, and morning light.

The Plan

The master bedroom follows a clear and intuitive layout that balances functionality with comfort. The bed is centrally placed against the longer wall, flanked by a side table on one end and a study table on the other, both seamlessly integrated into the room’s footprint. A wide sliding window spans the wall to the side of the bed, welcoming in natural light and opening out to a balcony.

Opposite the bed sits a slim TV ledge, keeping the visual profile light and unobtrusive. Along the entrance wall, a 6-foot wardrobe runs in line, offering ample storage without crowding the room. The circulation path flows easily around the bed, creating a calm, breathable space that feels quietly efficient and elegantly simple.

Master Bedroom of Phoenix - layout plan

The Master Bedroom of Phoenix

We planned the layout of the master bedroom of Phoenix with equal attention to functionality and aesthetics. As you enter the room, you’ll find the bed placed centrally on the left wall. It is framed by a stunning floral mural and a pair of pendant lights on either side that double as bedside lighting.

On one side of the bed is a compact side table, and on the other, a dark wood study table tucked neatly beneath the hanging pendants—an elegant way to maximise both light and space.

The wardrobe spans the entire entrance wall, finished in white with a gridded pattern of mirrored panels. This not only amplifies the sense of space in the room, but also reflects light beautifully across the room.

Opposite the bed, a simple ledge beneath the wall-mounted TV creates space for books and decor. The window at the far end ensures abundant natural light. The sheer curtains layered over blockout drapes allow the flexibility to modulate it through the day.

We purposefully carved out each zone in the room—rest, work, storage, and entertainment—without compromising the visual calmness that defines this bedroom.

A Floral Sanctuary Anchored in Pattern and Light

The master bedroom in Phoenix is a gentle extension of the home’s earthy, patterned narrative. It is rooted in craft, memory, and quiet luxury.

The floral wallpaper, awash in corals and green, blurs the boundary between art and architecture. Natural light filters through sheer and blackout drapes layered in tonal greys. The ivory walls and ceiling remain purposefully quiet, allowing the colours and patterns to breathe.

A cluster of fluted glass pendants descends like suspended blooms, adding shimmer and softness against the floral canvas.

Grounded Materials and Echoes of the Home

The flooring carries forward the patterned geometry from the common areas. Encaustic-style tiles in deep rusts and olive greens form a vivid rug around the bed. This palette finds rhythm in the quilt, which features a leafy motif, and in the textured sage green bedspread that quietly complements it.

A dark wood study table and chair with hand-blocked upholstery sit alongside the bed, classic and functional.

The wardrobe with its mirrored shutters adds lightness while visually expanding the space, and reflects all the beauty, twice over.

The master bedroom of Phoenix celebrates material harmony and balance—warm, botanical, and unmistakably tied to the soul of this home.

This room, much like the rest of Phoenix, is a quiet celebration of craft and comfort. Every material has meaning and every detail tells a story. We designed this space not just for sleep, but for unwinding gently into the day and retreating softly at night.
